Shipping:
We ship to virtually any address in the world from Sydney, Australia. All international customs duties and taxes that may apply are payable by the receiver at their end and are in addition to SeedMate's shipping costs. Please refer to your local customs agency to determine if any additional charges will be payable prior to delivery.
For shipping within Australia, we use Australia Post, Aramex or Couriers Please. Each of these carriers has different levels of service into certain areas, however the cheapest service options will be shown to you.
For shipping outside Australia, we use Australia Post International services only.
In the shopping cart and on the checkout page, shipping quote options and a delivery estimate will be provided once you enter your shipping address. You must complete all shipping fields before a shipping quote will appear.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are cubic weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full Kilo (kg).
Returns Policy:
You may return the product if you change your mind. We require it be returned in it's original packaging and a claim placed within 7 days of delivery for a full refund of the product purchase price paid, excluding the initial shipping charge.
Products that are defective or not of a reasonable, acceptable standard (hand made items), can be returned after an inquiry is made and instructions supplied. If the item is found to be defective upon return to us, we will reimburse the return shipping costs. We may offer store credit, compensation for the loss in value or replacement for defective items. The initial freight cost for the purchase will not be refunded. This is in accordance with the Australian Consumer Guarantees Act.
A refund cannot be offered for a product if it is damaged through misuse or in the process of being used. This includes but is not limited to, dropping the item, using a dishwasher or hard soaps to clean the item, accidental damage by the animal or the consumer.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank or other payment provider (i.e. Stripe etc.) to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
